RLI FILM RHODESIA REMEMBERED
The DVD from the Troopie Rededication Service held in London
during September 2008 is nearly ready and should be available from
March, 2009.
Further details of how to order will be advised shortly
The content of the 3 DVD's include :
DVD - 1 Rhodesia Remembered : 45 minutes - recollections from
the RLI veterans
DVD - 2 The Troopie : 35 minutes - from the Service and
Rededication at Hatfield House.
DVD - 3. Bonus Sequence called The Nkomo Assignment : 30
minutes.
The commentary on the film Rhodesia Remembered has been done by
acclaimed actor James Faulkner, and on the Troopie film Isla St.
Clair is both singing and doing the commentary.
At present we are waiting for the kind permission of Msasa
Productions to use some of their archive material.
I would also like to notify you that Isla St. Clair has very
generously offered to do a Concert to help us raise funds to
start the RLI Museum Project.
It will be an Evening of Celebration of Scottish Music, however
we are limited to 300 places.

The tickets are reserved for RLIRA members and their families
first before they go on general sale to the public, please
support this as we need the funds to pay for initially the
Display Cabinets at the Rifles Club in Mayfair, London.
