John van Zyl (53) 14 Troop, 3 Commando '75-'75. Spent many years as a stockbroker in Cape Town. John now lives with his wife, Nayna, on a farm near Gansbaai, where they grow and export proteas.
He also teaches martial arts (Japanese sword fighting) and has dojo's in Cape Town, Stellenbosch and Hermanus. His website is
