I joined the Rhodesian Army in June 1978, completed LTU (Leader Training Unit) Course at Llewellyn Barracks, then transferred to The RLI in January 1979 where I joined I Commando and consequently gained rank of L/Cpl.
I Left the Army in 1980 and joined the Government Veterinary Services, as an Animal Health Inspector.
I left Zimbabwe in 1982 and moved to Johannesburg where I joined Panvet as an Assistant Manager in the Animal Feeds industry, I then joined Glenmor Products as Production Manager, Animal Feed Additives.
I got married in November 1996, we then left Johannesburg in 1999 to move to Nelspruit where I joined Chipkins, Catering Suppliers and left them in 2001 to join the Spar Group where I am currently employed as a Produce Specialist, with Spar Retail Operations.
I am very honoured and proud to have served with the RLI
