Tpr. ‘Geordie' Furness once served in the British Royal Marine Commandos. He was best friend with fellow Royal Marine George ‘Paddy' Windrum also of Recce Troop. Geordie never lost his strong ‘Geordie' accent. Geordie was tragically KIA in Operation Thrasher. |
