Christopher Morgan
Do you have any information that will help us trace Christopher Morgan. He joined with the start of the RLI in 1961 and was in MT but I don’t know if he stayed on in the RLI after 1964 which was when we lost contact and at that time he was either Corporal or Lance Corporal.
Heppenstall is an unusual name and as a youngster I can remember my Dad mentioning the name. Just in case this email catches you by surprise, he was also Laurie and left the RLI with the break up of the Federation and was Captain in charge of MT. He died 10 years ago.

Accommodation Required
One of our members who served in the RLI from way back in the Brady days, right up until 1973, is in
desperate need of accommodation, preferably in the Joburg area. A small cottage would be ideal, but he
would even settle for a room with en suite bathroom. He’s unfortunately largely incapacitated, so needs
to have caring folk close by for the odd bit of shopping and the odd chore. He’s able to contribute towards
the cost of “house help” and his overall monthly budget for the accommodation and the house help is in the order of R3,000.00.
If you think you may have something suitable, please contact me in the first instance. Otherwise, please spread the appeal.
